Read our most recent newsletter What are your shipping policies? We ship anywhere that Canada Post can deliver. We use Purolator for those rush shipments that come up. Shipping costs depend on your location, the weight of the package and whether or not you'd like insurance. Now that we've opened our Artisans forum to other communities and Mommies, shipping of many items cannot be combined. It may be possible to combine shipping on items from within one community's listings. Contact us to find out how much it will cost and we'll get right back to you! The shipping prices used in the PayPal shopping cart we have online are estimates and we may need to adjust the total - we thank you for your cooperation and we still intend to strive for the most convenient transaction possible for our customers. Who does Mostly Mommies sell for? Can I join and sell stuff here, too? We charge a sliding scale fee for selling on MostlyMommies.com. (We're also happy to barter!) We believe that a craft or product should be judged on its own merits rather than on whether the artisan has enough money to get together a website. Selling on MostlyMommies.com includes space on the site, with MostlyMommies processing the payments for all items (if you have your own PayPal account, you can have payments posted directly to your own account). Once we've received a payment, we will contact you and give you the shipping address and your payment will be held pending receeipt of the item by the customer. This is the only way we've found to maintain our online reputation - by taking full responsibility for any item we are selling. We offer a money back guarantee to all our customers, too - that is mandatory for our partners. If you choose, you can also include a webpage about artisan (you). Each page, both for the products and for the artisan, will be fully optimized for the world's top search engines. That is good for you and for us, giving us wider exposure with more search terms and simulataneously, marketing your product to a larger audience. People looking for toys may choose a handmade craft instead and vice versa. Better yet, they may take a couple of each! We are here to be the year round crafters / artisans market, focused on Mostly Mommies. Don't spend all winter, waiting for summer - sell your craft all year! By offering a resources page for each town or community, we'd like to foster a networking system for Moms who are also Artisans and Crafters. Where does my money go when I buy from Mostly Mommies? First, of course, crafters and artisans receive their payment. We believe in Fair Trade practices and all our consigners are paid based on their own stipulations. Next, a portion of our proceeds is donated to the Sunshine Coast Parent Tot Program. They run the Parent Tot drop ins up and down the Sunshine Coast, where it all began, as well as the Toy Library service and other family support programs. There is a real need for these programs and we want to support them and ensure they can continue to offer their great resources to all the Coast's families. Then we pay our overhead such as web space, computer maintenance and software upgrades. Our site designers have worked tirelessly to bring this project online - we hope we can pay them someday, too! As this site grows, which it does every day, by leaps and bounds, we encourage crafters who come together to network and market their craft here at Mostly Mommies, choose a local organization to donate a percentage of their profits to. An influx of money to a local drop in or kids' program can mean new toys and materials, speakers, and resources for the parents who make use of the service.
